Apple has just announced its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models and also the all-new iPhone Air, that replaces the iPhone Plus. Aplpe’s iPhone 17 features a new design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after a long wait (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the new A19 chip is more powerful and more energy-efficient, particularly when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you will see a significant increase in speed and smoother gaming courtesy of ProMotion.
Camera wise, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also features an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and also more refined.

iPhone 17 Colours

The iPhone 17 will come in six colourways: black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.

The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in blue, orange and silver.
